On Veterans Day, a message from Student Veterans of America

Our Clinton Global Initiative Commitment

Dear Dr. Jim

I am excited to report to you on this Veterans Day that our national network has surpassed 500 student veteran organizations, or SVA chapters, on college campuses throughout the nation and overseas! Perhaps equally captivating to share is the emergence of our overseas presence with new chapters at The American University in Paris and The American University in Rome. SVA has now developed into a global network!

In a span of virtually three years our network has grown from less than 20 chapters to 501 chapters in 49 states and two countries. We are well positioned to exceed the expectations of our Clinton Global Initiative commitment of 500 chapters in 50 states. Only one state remains: Mississippi!

This rapid growth is not the achievement of one, but rather the collective success of the thousands of returning veterans to our colleges and universities. I look forward to meeting many of you at our national conference in December and to announcing the year end successes of SVA. Enjoy your Veterans Day!

Very Respectfully,

Michael Dakduk
Executive Director
Student Veterans of America
