The Solutions to Our Education and Employment Problems?

Here's an extraordinarily good little essay from this week's TIME Magazine:

The article ends with two obvious conclusions, concerning how the US can dig out of its 26th place among the world's education systems:

1. Students need to work harder.

2. Schools need to hire the very best teachers.

What's amazing to me is that this needs to be said... but it does!
