I bet you can think of one person you've always thought should get involved in this campaign.

Next weekend -- July 28th and 29th -- you've got your golden opportunity to ask them to join you for the It Takes One weekend of action.

There's an event in Upper Darby on Saturday, and some other events near you, too.

Here's all the info you and the person you bring will need to make it out on Saturday:

This weekend of action is inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama's new effort called It Takes One. She's asking us to bring one new person into this organization each time we take action -- when we show up at a volunteer event, when we donate a few dollars to help grow the campaign, or when we commit to making it out to the polls.

Maybe that person you bring along will be your best friend, your sister, or one of your parents. Maybe it's someone you know from school or work, who has told you they're interested in doing something big to help move our work along.

Whoever you bring, you'll both be reaching out to voters -- helping them get registered to vote and having conversations with them about who they'll be casting their ballot for this fall. It'll be great work to do as a team with the person who comes along, and we'll set you both up with a training beforehand so you're all ready when you head out for your shift.

The best part -- you'll be able to do twice as much, and have twice as much fun doing it together.
