FERPA does not shield complaining students from suing prof

So said a Florida court ealrier this week.  The prof's university attempting to keep fromhim the identities of students who complained about him in emails.  The university invoked FERPA.  Wrong, said the court, ruling that the state's public-records law trumps the federal statute in this instance.
