Prof. Ely Karmon on Al-Jazeera

Dear friends and colleagues,

Due to the perceived influence of the Aljazeera TV station on the events in the Middle East it is important in my opinion to read the article "Aljazeera: One Organization, Two Messages" by David Pollock. See at:

Sorry for duplicates.

It is interesting to note in this context, that Al-Jazeera's Beirut Bureau Chief Ghassan Ben Jeddo has resigned over what he described “biased” coverage of Middle East revolutions by the Qatari-based satellite channel.

Al-Jazeera has been seriously criticized by the Hezbollah Al-Manar TV for the way it covers the Arab uprisings and not covering the Bahrain Shiite rebellion, especially in an article by Arab journalist Soraya Hélou titled "Al-Jazeera, the end of a dream"!

Best regards,

Ely Karmon
