A CAN'T MISS LIVE, MONTHLY UPDATE. Get the most current, incisive analyses on "hot topics" in government contracts law and policy from Professors Ralph Nash & Steve Schooner. For both contracting officials and private practitioners, these exclusive webinars offer the latest developments and the unique opportunity to "ask the experts."

Up to 1.5 CLE credit may be available in the states of NY, IL and CA. Attorneys must register and view programs individually in order to receive CLE credits for participation in the webinar. At least two sessions will cover ethics-related issues.

Topics to be Covered on May 26, 2011

• Government contracts claims and disputes process, with emphasis on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) DISPUTES clause (48 C.F.R.) and the Contract Disputes Act of 1978 (Title 41, U.S.C.).

• Among other things, the professors will discuss the preparation, submission, and certification of claims; the various stages at which claims (and, of course) requests can be negotiated and resolved; choice of forum; and traps for the wary.

Each month, topics might include:

• The significance of new OFPP developments

• The legal effects of new decisions from the GAO, Court of Federal Claims and Federal Circuit

• The legal effect of new FAR/DFARS changes

• New legislation that changes procurement rules

• The unintended consequences of new developments in procurement law and policy

• Your Suggestions. Please give them to us during the webinar or email tracy@publiccontractinginstitute.com
