Ninth Circuit finds exclusion of gay juror to be discriminatory

The case on appeal potentially affected the gay community.  The appellate panel said that in light of the Supreme Court's decision, knocking down the Defense of Marriage Act, heightened equal protection for sexual orientation is required in our courts.
