Next, he was accused of and tried for murdering his ex and a friend. Acquitted after a sensational, televised trial that became the soap opera of the year, he was sued by the friend's family in a wrongful death suit that resulted in his bankruptcy.
An effort to get out of debt by publishing a book about how he would have done it, had he done, was squashed by negative publicity.
Then came accusations of assault, robbery and kidnapping that landed him in prison in 2008.
Now, reports are that OJ is begging for clemency so that he can treat for brain cancer.
Is this the real deal... or yet another scam by one of the biggest scam artists of his time?
