ABA Task Force calls for sweeping changes in law school accreditation and cost

The report says tenure need not be an accreditation factor.  Furthermore, merit aid should be replaced by need-based scholarships.

In my view, a law school education provides a powerful set of skills, which can be applied in many careers and professions.  Just don't go into it thinking you will become a seven-figure partner in a mega-firm... anymore than you might go to acting school on the assumption you will be the next (fill in your favorite star).
