About Your Speakers:
Christian Davis is a partner with the firm of Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton First & Newby LLP in Philadelphia. Mr. Davis devotes the majority of his practice to defending workers' compensation matters in state and federal court on behalf of insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators. Mr. Davis' federal workers' compensation practice involves defending cases brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and Jones Act. Mr. Davis speaks regularly on the subject of workers' compensation to clients, claims associations and trade groups.
Janice Moore is an Assistant Vice President for Workers' Compensation with the insurance firm Chartis in Wilmington, DE, where she manages the office's workers' compensation claims operation. Ms. Moore has 19 years' experience in WC claims management, having begun her career as an internal auditor. She has managed workers' comp claims in seven different states, and under the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers' Act.
