James Ottavio,
In a time of great fiscal challenges, we need leaders in Washington who are fighting to protect our country’s middle-class families. Yet Tea Partiers in Congress and all over the country are falling lockstep behind Paul Ryan’s divisive budget – a plan that ends Medicare as we know it while lavishing tax breaks on the wealthiest Americans.
There’s still a lot that needs to be done in order to move our country’s economy forward, but the answer isn’t forcing the middle class and Medicare beneficiaries to pick up the bill. Ryan’s budget would drastically reduce benefits that help Medicare beneficiaries and their families pay costly medical bills – while increasing taxes for the average working family by more than $1,300.
It’s simply the wrong approach. I’m fighting to create good American jobs and help middle-class families here in Pennsylvania – but I can’t do it alone.

My opponent has applauded Ryan’s budget, and if elected, he even promised to privatize Social Security. This kind of Tea Party politics is just echoing the same failed policies of the past that got us into this economic mess in the first place.
Stand with me against this extreme plan that will increase the financial burden on working families and our Medicare beneficiaries.
After you’ve added your name, please tell your friends and family to do the same.
Thanks so much for your support.
Bob Casey
