Universtity Students: Win scholarships, find jobs, further your research by entering the National Security Innovation Competition. The National Homeland Defense Foundation sponsors this STEM-based, security-solutions focused event April 27, 2012 in Colorado Springs. Undergrad, graduate and PhD students can enter their student led, university sponsored applied research which serves a national security purpose. The Top Ten Finalists give oral presentations to a national panel of government and industry leaders while audience Tech reps offer mentoring to guide further research and applications. $25,000 in scholarship grants will be given with opportunity for internships/jobs, publishing, and research grants.
