It's very clear that social media use has increased exponentially, moving well beyond the personal sharing with family and friends, to become a viable tool in the business world. But, as social networking sites gain membership of companies and their employees, companies gain exposure to a multitude of legal risks, including employee disputes and even potential lawsuits. Of the many risks, one of the biggest is that employees may be disclosing confidential or inaccurate information. It's imperative that companies understand and educate employees about what constitutes appropriate and legal use of social media whether they're at work, home, or anywhere else they may be connected.
Pepper partners Hope Comisky, Steve Harvey, and Kassem Lucas invite you to participate in a webinar to explore the most popular social media sites and identify the pros and cons of use for lawyers, other service professionals, and corporations. They will also discuss legal issues that may arise from the use or misuse of social media, as well as address the key elements that must be considered when developing a social media policy.

There are no fees to participate in this webinar.
