Position Responsibilities:

Serve as chief academic officer.
*
Provide vigorous, dynamic leadership and overall direction for instruction at the University.
*
Responsible for all aspects of the academic mission.
*
Work closely with the President on the development of overall strategy and daily, weekly and monthly tactics necessary to achieve those goals.
*
Build and foster a community of accountability and collegiality between staff members and faculty.


Credentials and Experience Sought:

*
Doctorate or appropriate terminal degree.
*
The ability to be the architect for new and innovative courses and programs that integrate concepts across the curriculum.
*
Experience as a senior level administrator with demonstrated leadership skills necessary to manage the academic resources and advance the University's mission and standing.
*
A record of success in collegial decisions, policies and management practices through a consultative and collaborative process with the University community and in creating an environment responsive to all forms of diversity and equity.
