David Flory, a professor of physics at the Metropolitan campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, in Teaneck, N.J., was arrested on Sunday in Albuquerque on charges that he ran a prostitution Web site that featured more than 200 women and that had 1,200 clients, according to The Bergen Record, a New Jersey newspaper. A police lieutenant involved in the arrest said that Mr. Flory, who is being held on $100,000 bail, told the police that he did not profit from the site and instead viewed it as a hobby and a “safe place for guys to find female prostitutes.”
