ACJS Call for Nominations for Executive Board
Fellow Member of ACJS:
The Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences is now soliciting nominations for three (3) Executive Board positions that will be filled by the election to be held in Fall 2011. The positions are Second Vice President (who will become our President in 2014), Trustee-at-Large, and Region Four Trustee. All 2011 ACJS Regular members are eligible to run for office. To be eligible to run as a Regional Trustee, the person must live in that region and have been a member of the regional organization for at least one year.
Please review my letter and the Call for Nominations that immediately follows it for information about the positions, terms of office, and the procedure and forms for achieving candidacy by either nomination or petition. Nominations must be postmarked by July 1, 2011 and petitions must be received no later than June 15, 2011.
