Why profs fear MOOCs

This writer says it's because we fear hybrids.  Just as primitive people feared monsters, because they defied classification, academics are frightened by these new, hybrid course offerings:

However, Harvard's Clayton Christensen says MOOCs really are monsters, which may help put 50% of all universities into bankruptcy in just 15 years or so.
