Meanwhile, House committee works to restrict women's access to health care

As a woman in politics, nothing makes me angrier than when Republicans make up outrageous claims to take away women's rights.

Here's what just happened: The House Judiciary Committee -- full of Republican men -- voted to dramatically restrict women's access to reproductive health care.

Trent Franks, the author of the extreme measure, said that there should be NO exceptions for victims of rape and incest because "the incidence of rape resulting in pregnancy are very low."

This isn't just a reprehensible and utterly false claim. It's dangerous.

We need to call out Congressman Franks and House Republicans for their radical agenda to take away women's rights IMMEDIATELY. Will you help us fight back?

The idea that Republican men are using made-up claims to force women to carry to term the product of a rape is outrageous.
