Why is
New jersey Governor Chris Christie spending $24 million of taxpayers' money for a special primary and a special general election to choose a senator to replace the recently deceased
Frank Lautenberg? He says it's to give New Jerseyites the opportunity to exercise their free choice. Truth is, he would rather see Newark Mayor Cory Booker in the Senate than running against him for the governor's mansion in November.
