Maribel Ramos, a Cal State University, Fullerton (CSUF) student veteran, has been reported missing since Friday, May 3. Authorities are asking that anyone with information or anyone who might have seen Ramos to call the Orange Police Department at (714) 744-7444.

Student Veterans of America (SVA) issued the following statement in response to the missing person alert:

"We have a very strong community here at Student Veterans of America," said Michael Dakduk, SVA's executive director. "The SVA community is ready to support Maribel's family and the CSUF community in whatever way we can."

"Maribel is a proud soldier, a valued student at CSUF and loved by her family and friends. Veterans look out for each other and if you can help, please contact the appropriate authorities," said vice chairman of the SVA board of directors, MajGen (ret.) Michael Lehnert, and former Commanding General of Marine Corps Installations West.

MajGen (ret.) Lenhert was the keynote speaker at the CSUF event on May 4 where Ms. Ramos was expected to be honored.

Maribel's family has also set up a Facebook page to help with the search.

"Missing Person" flyers for Maribel are available in Spanish and English.
