Quo Vadis?

... i.e., for those of you who, like me, stink at languages: where to now?

If it were my call, I'd:

1. Bring the troops back from Afghanistan and Iraq as quickly as possible;

2. Cut the military's budget drastically;

3. Refocus the War on Terror as a domestic initiative almost exclusively (with the exceptions of good intel work and assassinations of terrorist leaders and plotters when and where possible, globally);

4. Concentrate for the next decade on education, jobs, equitable tax policies, health care and housing for all Americans, an end to our absurd immigration policies, and a cleaner environment... all of which could be accomplished in a complimentary, synergistic fashion;

5. And, last but hardly least, a new political climate in America, one of moderation, compromise and compassion.

That's what I'd do, if I were king.
