In May-June 2007 I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life as an Academic Fellow on Terrorism, spending ten days studying counter-terrorism in Israel, compliments of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.
Wish I could have been at the FDD annual conference. But it looks as if it can be experienced here:
WASHINGTON FORUM: If you missed FDD’s annual conference -- which this year focused on the threat from Iran -- most of the addresses (e.g. White House official Gary Samore, Senator Mark Kirk, Rep. Brad Sherman, Rep. Pete Hoekstra) and panels (e.g. on the nature of the Iranian regime, the impact of sanctions, the military option, the prospects for Middle East peace, cyberwarfare) can be watched and/or read at www.FDDWashingtonForum.org. Also at this site are links to various articles about the conference.
