For what little it's worth, I agree. As I'll say in next Saturday's "Generation Gasp" column, it's time to move away from the War on Terror mentality of the past 12 years and begin treating "terrorists" just like all other criminals. Otherwise, as Damon points out --- citing Jimmy Carter --- we soon will no longer live in a democracy.
