Jim,
Today, we have so much to celebrate!
It’s National Women’s Checkup Day and millions of American women with health insurance or Medicare can get a yearly physical exam with no co-pay. Yes, you read that right: no co-pay.
Obamacare has given millions of women and their families access to free well-woman visits, pap smears, mammograms, colonoscopies and blood pressure screenings. And as much as women of all ages love receiving presents of all kinds, some gifts have greater lasting power than others. Health and peace of mind are priceless.
Very soon, the U.S. Supreme Court will issue a ruling that may impact how much women will be charged for healthcare and create roadblocks to access of life-saving preventive care services.
By signing up, you'll be among the first to know how your access to healthcare will be affected by the Supreme Court's ruling--and how you can continue to fight for your family’s health.
We fought hard for Obamacare and we will continue to fight extremists who want to take these life-saving benefits away from women and their families. But we need you with us.  Give the gift of healthcare access to the women you love each and every day of the year.
Spread the good news! Encourage the women in your life to get a checkup now that Obamacare has made it easier than before. And get ready to fight if the Supreme Court compromises Americans’ access to health care.
In health,
Dian Palmer, RN
Chair, National Nurse Alliance of SEIU Healthcare
President of SEIU Healthcare Wisconsin

P.S. While we’re celebrating access to women's health today, you should know that these preventive healthcare services under Obamacare are available to all Americans - men, women, children and seniors.Sign up to receive text message alerts as soon as the Court reaches a decision on the fate of the Affordable Care Act.
