James -- I have a favor to ask of you: If you haven't talked with a voter yet about the 2012 election, do it this Saturday or Sunday. And if you have, come out again this weekend and add a few more registered voters to your tally. This election is going to be close. The conversations you have, and the voters you register, could determine whether President Obama gets four more years to keep building on the progress we've made. And with so many folks feeling fired up about the President's ideas for our country, we've got a lot to gain for Democrats if we get going now. Check out all the upcoming weekend of action events near you -- or RSVP for this one:
What: Weekend of action in Springfield
Where: 400 S. State Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 When: Saturday, May 19th 10:00 am I've been looking at the numbers, and the thing that really stands out is how quickly we've got to get out there in our neighborhoods, to get those voter registration forms rolling in and to make those important conversations happen. Our goals are ambitious -- but our ground game is the best one around, hands down. If you're out there this weekend, and if your neighbors are out there, too -- and if we put in all the energy we can now to get people ready to vote for President Obama and other Democrats, we can't lose. So let us know if you can make it out this Saturday in Springfield: http://my.barackobama.com/May-Weekend-of-Action Thanks, Marlon Marlon Marshall Deputy National Field Director Obama for America ---- If this is your first time registering voters, don't worry -- your local organizers will connect you with all the materials and trainings you'll need. |
