Supreme Court halts Texas execution two hours into convict's six-hour window

Finding that race was a factor in the jury's decision to recommend the death penalty for double-murderer Duane Buck, the high court halted his execution, Hollywood-like, at the eleventh hour.

Making the case even more dramatic was the fact that two appeals were presented to the Supremes. One was granted and the other denied.
