It's human to Eyre

This from my alma mater, Franklin & Marshall College:

Jane Eyre, Sunday Brunch and Baldwin's Book Barn with F&M English Professor Padmini Mongia

Not your average bookstore, Baldwin's is a local institution revered by book lovers! Built in 1822, the charming building welcomes all with its friendly atmosphere, wood-burning stove, and shelf upon shelf of new and used books, maps and prints. The collection includes antiquarian, rare and fine books as well.

Our day begins at 11 a.m. with Sunday brunch and a discussion of Jane Eyre led by F&M English Professor Padmini Mongia at Iron Hill Brewery in West Chester. Next, we head to Baldwin's where we will tour the facility and learn about the world of books. For the remainder of the afternoon, guests will be free to browse the store and search for treasures.

This semester, Professor Mongia is teaching a seminar on 19th Century Literature, including the classic Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Attendees are encouraged to read Jane Eyre and come ready to share their thoughts about the novel. Register online today or call Alumni Relations at 866-925-5500. Registration includes brunch, book discussion program and Baldwin's tour.
