Who is a hero and who a villain?

And what of villains?  Yesterday's 70th anniversary of D-Day made us remember history's greatest villain.

We also should recall the great hero of that conflict... the one essential man without whom history would have turned out quite differently.

 Is there anyone on earth today, from among all 7 billion souls, to compare to either of these mythic figures ?  WWII truly was the war of the titans.
