The first sane step toward dealing with sexual assaults on college campuses?

Lower the US drinking age to 18, like the rest of the civilized world.

There are reasons why binge drinking and drugs proliferate.  One is the ridiculous anomaly that 18 years olds can drive, vote, sign contracts and, yes, die for their country… and can't legally buy a drink.

Reduce binge drinking and weird-drug use and you'll reduce sexual assaults.  

How about that for a note of sanity?
