Jim -- Check this out: The Los Angeles Times just published a piece on Obamacare success stories -- you're going to want to read it. With all the noise out there about Obamacare, it's great to be reminded of why health care reform is so important in the first place -- here's one great story from the article: "Judith Silverstein, 49, a Californian who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2007. Her family helps her pay the $750 monthly cost of her existing plan--which she only had because of federal law requiring that insurers who provide employer-based insurance continue to offer coverage if the employer goes out of business, as hers did. Next year she'll get a subsidy that will get her a good "silver" level plan for $50." This is a good one to share. Pass it along on Facebook: http://my.barackobama.com/LA-Times-FB Or share it on Twitter: http://my.barackobama.com/LA-Times-TW Thanks, Erin Erin Hannigan Health Care Campaign Manager Organizing for Action |
