Jim,
BREAKING: Texas Governor Rick Perry’s voter ID law is a blatant effort to defeat Wendy Davis by disenfranchising tens of thousands of women voters. Donate now to help Wendy fight back!
Gov. Perry and his handpicked successor, Greg Abbott, are trying to undo the voting rights women fought for – a century ago! It’s downright anti-democratic.
If Wendy had been Texas’ governor, she would have stopped it cold.
Within single digits, Wendy can win. And as governor, she would champion progress for Texas women. She’s got a plan, too – to overcome these desperate attacks and protect all voters.
But she needs you and me to make sure she has the resources to see it through.
This is so important that we need to raise $35,000 directly for Wendy by midnight tonight. She needs a ground game that can register voters, help update IDs and spread the word on GOP efforts to silence them. Donate as much as you can now.
Click here to donate $3 or more to Wendy by midnight tonight to help her fight back against the Texas GOP’s anti-woman, anti-voter attacks. We’ll get it into the field right away.
This law is being implemented specifically to defeat Wendy and Texas Democrats. When Ann Richards won in 1990, 61% of Texas women supported her, including 21% of Republican women.
The GOP’s determined not to repeat 1990 – but rather than moderate their extreme, anti-woman policies, they’d rather keep women from voting.
Defeat the GOP in Texas by helping the DGA and Wendy overcome attacks on women voters. We can’t protect the rights of women voters without your immediate support.
Donate $3 or more to Wendy right away before midnight tonight. We can’t win without you.
