Gov. Perry and his handpicked successor, Greg Abbott, are trying to undo the voting rights women fought for – a century ago! It’s downright anti-democratic.
If Wendy had been Texas’ governor, she would have stopped it cold.
Within single digits, Wendy can win. And as governor, she would champion progress for Texas women. She’s got a plan, too – to overcome these desperate attacks and protect all voters.

This law is being implemented specifically to defeat Wendy and Texas Democrats. When Ann Richards won in 1990, 61% of Texas women supported her, including 21% of Republican women.
The GOP’s determined not to repeat 1990 – but rather than moderate their extreme, anti-woman policies, they’d rather keep women from voting.
