The Supremes reconvene on this first Monday in October

The conservative five have lined up lots of cases that will enable them to chip away at liberal precedents:

1.  Affirmative Action: Can voters pass a referendum that make affirmative action illegal?

2.  Abortion: several cases where the fab five may chip away at Wade without actually overruling it.  Closely related, will they knock down the ruling which required a buffer zone between protesters and abortion-clinic customers?

3.  In the wake of Citizens United will our boys erase the line between PACs and limits on direct contributions to candidates?

Stay tuned.  It will get interesting.
