Visit Sister Giant and make a difference Here are a few of the most disturbing facts: America has the highest child poverty rate (23.1 percent) of any developed nation America has the highest incarceration rate of any nation in the world, and in history The Citizens United Supreme Court Decision opened the door for unlimited, anonymous corporate donations which has put a chokehold on political campaigns, compromising the whole democratic process (even John McCain called it the worst Supreme Court decision in history) The Sister Giant gathering will address these issues head on, with expert speakers on all three topics, and the attendees will all receive training in how to initiate and carry out the legislative actions necessary to solve these problems. Join Sister Giant << Be part of the solution Marianne is looking for women who are driven to do something meaningful about the most difficult issues we face in our world right now, and who are inspired to try to bring more balance to the world political arena. The event is being supported by volunteer efforts and is completely not-for-profit, with only a small nominal fee to attend and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
