Dear Jim,
In 2010, the Supreme Court's horrendous Citizens United decision gave free rein to corporations, billionaires and anonymous dark money to buy the most extreme Congress in history.
We will not let them do it again in 2012.
With the help of CREDO activists across the country, we've built the largest grassroots-powered SuperPAC fighting Tea Party extremists — and we're making such an impact in the districts, these extremists have started attacking us directly.
Tea Partier Chip Cravaack in Minnesota called us a "shadowy SuperPAC," writing in a fundraising email that "Five months before Election Day, they're already knocking on doors and calling voters in my district attacking me!"
Cravaack should know shadowy. He took money from the Koch brothers and got elected with the help of Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS, which is powered by tens of millions of dollars in anonymous money.
Hundreds of local volunteers making calls and knocking doors every weekend isn't exactly shadowy. But it is a sign of the huge enthusiasm out there, and the great organizing happening in these districts.
If we keep it up, we can win. We need your help to keep this going until November.
Thanks for standing with us,
Mudcat Arnold, Campaign Manager
CREDO SuperPAC
