The 2012 Elections: Fellow Havertonians, Get Out and Help Obama

Jim --

I'm really excited to let you know about the day of action on Saturday in Havertown.

Here's why: Going door to door and asking folks if they're registered to vote is about as simple as volunteering gets -- and it's one of the most important things we do as an organization.

That's why this Saturday, June 23rd, we're hitting the streets for a summer canvass and voter registration drive, spreading the word about President Obama and other Democrats' accomplishments -- and making sure as many people as possible in Havertown will be ready to cast a ballot on November 6th.

Can you make it? Here are the details:

What: Day of action in Havertown

Where: 1305 W Chester Pike
Havertown, PA 19083

When: Saturday, June 23rd
Shifts start at 10:00 am

RSVP now

A lot of volunteers' first events involve knocking on doors and registering voters, so don't worry if you're not sure what to do -- we'll train you and make sure you're not alone out there.

I think what you'll find is that people are eager to listen and make sure they can vote in November. Usually they just need a little nudge to get them going. As long as you keep a smile on your face, you're going to get a good response.

And at the end of the day, after a lot of great conversations and with a stack of registration forms ready to turn in, you'll know you've really made a difference.

I hope you'll be able to join us for the day of action on Saturday -- we're going to have a good time:

See you out there,
