Dear UPCEA Members,
For the past several months I have been updating you about developments surrounding USDOE regulations requiring higher education institutions offering online courses to students in other states to secure approvals from each state. UPCEA President Jim Shaeffer has asked Elisabeth Meyer, Director, Online Learning UC San Diego Extension, to chair the State Approval Task Force charged with developing a web-based resource for all members on this topic. That information is now online.
