Is there such a thing as being too careful?

On October 2nd, the city hall was evacuated, because a man named Kaboom left behind his walking stick, which had his name scrawled on it.

In Michigan a nut in a Batman costume was arrested for hanging around a crime scene and allegedly "confusing" the police dogs.

I recall a time, not so very long ago, when first responders --- including a couple of fire trucks --- were summoned to a local college library, because a mysterious bottle was discovered in one of the reading carrels.  Thousands of dollars and hours later, it turned out to be some student's laundry detergent.
