His claim poses an interesting ethical question. If God know what's going to happen, why does God allow bad things to happen? It's a question that has plagued theologians, and religious believers in general, for... well, forever.
I can only assume that if God really does know about every sparrow that falls, as Jesus suggested, then God simply allows the game to play itself out... free-will and all.
