2012
Friend --
You're in for 2012: Welcome, and thanks.
Now forget everything you know about politics.
Because I can tell you that the next year and a half will be like nothing you've seen from a campaign. If we're going to win, we have to be tougher, smarter, and more innovative than ever before.
The President has a job to do, so he's asking each of us to take the lead in shaping this effort. That work begins now.
How you answer that call is up to you. Let us know how you'd like to get involved:

You may sign up to volunteer today and end up leading a canvass next summer. You may pass along this message to a friend on the fence, setting off a chain of recruitment that brings in dozens more supporters. Maybe you just want a 2012 T-shirt so you can show your support in your everyday life -- that helps our cause, too.
But whether you're a first-time supporter or a veteran organizer, this campaign belongs to you. You own it, and you power it.
I got my start empowering residents in mobile home communities in Missoula, Montana -- a long way from Washington, D.C. As an organizer, I know that committing to a campaign at the beginning is a huge first step. But it's often the decisions we make early on that determine future success.
This is an exciting time to get involved -- your leadership today will help shape what kind of campaign we can run over the next few months.
Tell me where you want to go from here.
