Last week, our governor signed a law that will require voters to present government-issued photo IDs at the polls -- creating an unnecessary hurdle for a lot of Pennsylvanians to cast their vote in November.
This new law will impact all sorts of people -- from the elderly, to folks who don't drive, to people who moved recently or changed their names when they got married. That's why we're staying focused on the most important job we all have right now: making sure as many Pennsylvanians as possible are ready to vote in November -- and in our primary next month.
We're organizing voter registration drives across the state, and on Saturday, there's one happening in Upper Darby.
Can you make it? Here are the details:
What: Voter registration drive in Upper Darby
Where:
Upper Darby, PA 19082
When: Saturday, March 24th
Shifts start at 10:00 am

We'll be hitting the streets to make sure eligible voters know about the new requirements, help get more of our neighbors registered before the primary deadline on March 26th, and make sure they're fired up about going to the polls to support the President and other Democrats.
Registering voters has always been at the core of what we do -- because after all, the power to make our voices heard is what democracy is all about. And our efforts in 2008 to get new folks to the polls was a big part of why we came out on top -- but with the recent changes to the law, it's going to be even more critical this time around.
That's why we're ramping up our voter registration efforts across the Keystone state this spring. If you've never done it before, no worries -- you'll get a training and some helpful tips before heading out.
So RSVP today if you can help get your fellow Pennsylvanians registered to vote in Upper Darby on Saturday:
