The fastest way to lose an election?
Waiting around.
Last night, the Republican candidates did themselves no favors by failing again to rally their party and choose a nominee. This may go on for a while.
Meanwhile, too many Obama supporters are falling into a trap: They're waiting to donate until we have a clear opponent.
There's too much at stake, and not enough time, to be doing that.
No matter who the Republicans nominate, we know they'll pursue policies that got us into the economic crisis in the first place. And they'll have a social agenda that turns back the clock on women's rights and health care.
Super Tuesday is over. I know you have already made a donation. But right now someone else is waiting for the next round of contests to make their first. We can't afford to wait for them.
