Hello !
We are coming down the home stretch for year-end reporting, and we are kicking off the Fall season with a great program! On November 17th, 2012, Steven "Mr. LinkedIn" Burda and Evan Y. Liu, M.D., J.D., will be our guest speakers at our annual Social Media Conference.
Steven Burda started his LinkedIn profile in 2006. Today, he is the #1 most recommended person on LinkedIn with over 3,000 endorsements listed on his profile page. He is one of the few members to reach LinkedIn's 30,000 connection limit. He has been featured in various news outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Market Watch, the Economist, CIO Magazine, and Entrepreneur.
Evan Y. Liu, M.D., J.D., is a 2006 graduate of the Widener University School of Law as well as a 1984 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University/Jefferson Medical College 5-Year Cooperative Program. Prior to being admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Dr. Liu was a 15-year veteran of full time Emergency Medicine practice in the Delaware Valley. Additionally, he has earned a Master's of Science in Information Science from the Pennsylvania State University, concentrating on the security, privacy, and patient safety issues relevant to medical information systems. He has published several articles on the topic of social media and has appeared as a panelist in numerous legal conferences on the subject.
Please note that this program will satisfy 8 hours of CPE (for CPAs) or 6 hours of Substantive CLE + 1 Ethics (for attorneys). It is available in live classroom (Temple University, Fort Washington) and live webcast formats. Additionally, Steven Burda's morning session from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm is open to the general public at reduced rates.
