The College of Coastal Georgia offers exceptional opportunities for well-qualified nursing faculty to contribute significantly to the future of an innovative and collaborative baccalaureate nursing program that is preparing graduates of the highest caliber in an energetic and forward-looking, four-year college setting.

1. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
2. The nursing program is housed in the new state-of-the-art Health and Science Building that is designed primarily for teaching nursing and offers the latest technology in simulation laboratories.
3. Southeast Georgia Health System, a comprehensive health care system serving the eight-county area, is a collaborative, contributing partner of the college’s nursing and health sciences programs.
4. The nursing program’s primary site for clinical experiences is only blocks from the campus.

To be considered, candidates must have a master’s degree in nursing and a doctorate degree, or be near completion of a doctoral program, in nursing or a closely related field. Candidates must be eligible for a Georgia Nursing License.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess administrative and leadership experience teaching in a baccalaureate nursing program and recent clinical experience. Expertise in the areas of maternal/child nursing, and/or pediatric nursing, and/or simulated learning technology, and/or medical/nursing surgical nursing, and/or critical care nursing is required. The ability and the commitment to utilize technology and web-based teaching are required.
