CWRU (Cleveland) offers lecture on the university after 9/11

You are invited to a daylong symposium considering the effect on higher education of post - 9/11 national security concerns. You will receive 1.25 hours free CLE credit (legal panel). Speakers will discuss the role academics have played in national security matters and the ethical issues raised by their work with policymakers, the military, detainees, and as government lawyers. Further, they will consider the impact of 9/11 on the day-to-day operation of colleges and universities - from threats, to academic freedom, to questions of resource allocation.
