As part of the NPS Center for Homeland Defense and Security’s commemoration of the ten year anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, the Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL) will host ten special posts on its blog. Beginning Tuesday, July 5, the HSDL will publish one blog a week discussing different facets of our shared American experience that have changed significantly or been affected deeply by that historic Tuesday morning of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The goal is to honor those who died that day by highlighting some of the lessons learned, key documents released, and changes that have occu rred as we seek to ensure nothing like 9/11 ever happens again.
