Norwegian mass murderer pleads "not guilty"... he's trying to save his race

Anders Behring Breivik has admitted bombing Norway's capital and opening fire on a political youth group retreat, but he entered a plea of not guilty, saying he wanted to save Europe from Muslim immigration.

Breivik also claims he is a part of a terrorist organization and that two cells remain undetected.

He has made it clear that his trial will be his bully pulpit: ""The operation was not to kill as many people as possible but to give a strong signal that could not be misunderstood that as long as the Labor Party keeps driving its ideological lie and keeps deconstructing Norwegian culture and mass importing Muslims then they must assume responsibility for this treason."

Norwegian law recognizes four levels of murder: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_%28Norway_law%29

The worst he faces is life in prison.

Word is that he is a right wing extremist. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503543_162-20082394-503543.html

We tend to think of Scandinavians as being liberal swingers. One source of this image is the Vietnam Wat, when Sweden in particular welcomed American deserters.http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,877561,00.html

Also a steady stream of x-rated films from Sweden during the Sixties reinforced this view.

But Scandinavians had their share of Nazi collaborators during WWII. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collaboration_with_the_Axis_Powers_during_World_War_II
This fact formed the backdrop of Stieg Larsson's novel, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

And it seems that right wing extremism in on the rise in Scandinavia.
