I remember when you couldn't stand in a super market checkout line without seeing Liz Taylor. Then it was Princess Diana. They eventually went away.
But Weiner? He just keeps popping back into view. Maybe it's because that nefarious Southern governor --- you know, the one who ran off with his mistress to South America a few years ago --- managed to get himself elected to something or other recently. Weiner cynically concludes that the electorate really doesn't care if you show your BVDs on the social nets.
He might be right. But one can hope that voters factor this into their assessment of his judgment, common sense and ability to lead.
