Delaware should keep its death penalty

The death penalty repeal bill squeaked through one house of the First State's legislature by nut a single vote.  The other house should vote it down in my opinion.

As one Delaware law enforcement official noted this morning on NPR, only the worst of the worst have been executed in Delaware since the penalty was reinstated in the late Seventies.  Victims' families get closure from the penalty and justice is served.

To me it makes no sense for governments in this most violent and gun-plagued of the Western democracies to abrogate their power over life and death to the bad guys.
