Dear James Ottavio,
Tomorrow is Pennsylvania's 2012 Primary Day! I hope you will join your friends and family -- and millions of fellow Pennsylvanians -- and get out to vote tomorrow. Every vote counts.
Remember, there are races to be decided on the Democratic ticket -- to see more info about Democratic candidates, you can visit our website by clicking here. But more than that, tomorrow is about a show of strength by Pennsylvania Democrats, and an opportunity to perform our civic duty and participate in our democracy.
If you need more information about where or how to vote, please visit the Pennsylvania Department of State's voting information and resource center by clicking here.
An important reminder: as many of you are probably already aware, the Pennsylvania legislature passed a law requiring all voters to provide photo ID every time they vote. However, that law is not yet in place. Tomorrow's primary will be considered a trial run -- while they will ask you for your ID, you do not need to present it for your vote to be counted. The only exception is those voting for the first time or at a new location, as they were required to present ID even before this new law. For Voter ID FAQs, click here.
If you see anything at the polls or are concerned in any way that your vote or the votes of others are not being counted, please contact me for Election Protection at (484) 547-2441.
Thanks for all you have done to make this a remarkable primary season, and we look forward to working with you to win in November!
See you at the polls tomorrow!
Fadia Halma
Deputy Executive Director
