Loughner gets a change of venue, al-Alwaki gets ten year in abstentia

The latest news from two court rooms:

1. The federal courts have approved transfer of Loughner's case from Arizona to California due to the extensive publicity and strong feelings, following the shooting of a Congresswoman, a federal judge and others.

2. In Yemen a court has sentenced a man, who murdered a French engineer, to death, and al-Alwaki --- the Muslin cleric implicated in numerous terrorist enterprises int he US --- to ten years in abstentia for allegedly having also influenced the Yemeni slaying. Al-Alwaki is believed to be hiding out somewhere in southern Yemen.
